Sandwich Brownie Cookies with Cookie Dough Frosting #desserts #cakerecipe

Sandwich Brownie Cookies with Cookie Dough Frosting will be your new most loved treat! A chewy debauched brownie sandwich treat loaded up with chocolate chip treat mixture icing that gives the entire gathering a five-star rating from any brownie darling.

On the off chance that you hang around here much by any means, you may realize my family has an affection for anything that includes treat batter. For example, the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcakes we made for Heather's birthday a couple of years back, and the ever top choice, Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownies.

In this way, a couple of months back, when I kept running over the Donna Hay Brownie Cookie formula my first idea was I HAD to make those with treat mixture filling!

This Brownie Sandwich Cookie formula is the ideal marriage of the Cookie Dough Cupcakes and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownie. Treat Dough icing sandwiched between a delicate chewy brownie molded like a treat!

I know sandwich brownie treats aren't the prettiest treats, yet I can guarantee you, they are grand and quite rich in chocolatey goodness. Somewhat liberal, which was presumably something to be thankful for, or I would have eaten significantly more than I!

INGREDIENTS:

  •  Brownie Cookies
  • 1 batch of prepared brownie batter according to box or a favorite brownie recipe (I used a Ghirardelli Brownie Mix )
  • Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Frosting
  • 1½ cups (3 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 3½ cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Brownie Cookies

  3. Spoon tablespoonfuls of brownie batter, one at a time, onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until puffed and cracked. Allow to cool completely on pan. Tip: We put them in the refrigerator to make them easier to frost.
  4. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Frosting
  5. Using an electric mixer, beat butter and brown sugar with the paddle attachment on high speed until creamy and fluffy.
  6. Mix in the confectioners’ sugar until smooth.
  7. Beat in the flour and salt.
  8. Mix in the milk and vanilla extract until smooth and combined.
  9. Fold in Chocolate Chips.
  10. Assembly
  11. Spread half the cookies with the cookie dough frosting and top with the remaining cookies.
  12. Enjoy!
