Peach Sorbet Recipe

As the remainder of the warm sweltering climate slides away here in Australia, I am presenting to you a formula that resembles the kind of summer in a bowl – my Peach Sorbet formula.

Carefully NOT TRICKY by any stretch of the imagination, and certainly no requirement for a frozen yogurt creator or concocting a sugar syrup! Simply wonder everything up in a nourishment processor or blender and stop.

Peach Sorbet Recipe - a straightforward 3 fixing peach sorbet that suggests a flavor like summer in a bowl, with no requirement for a dessert producer or to make a sugar syrup!

What's more, mix, scratching down the sides every so often until smooth. At that point add lemon juice to taste, and stop for 5 to 6 hours or until firm.

Ingredients

  • 8 ripe yellow peaches 800g sliced & peeled
  • 200 g caster sugar (see notes)
  • 1 tbsp* lemon juice to taste (see notes)

Instructions

  1. Slice the peaches into 8, and peel each slice. Place peach slices into freezer, and freeze until completely hard and frozen (see notes for freezing tips).
  2. Place frozen peach slices in the bowl of a food processor, along with sugar and process until smooth, scraping down the sides as you go.
  3. Once smooth, add lemon juice to taste.
  4. Freeze for 5-6 hours, or until firm.
